All Seniors Care Residences commemorate Black History Month during the week of February 7-11, 2022, with vibrant and educational programming honouring the stories, experiences, and accomplishments of Canada’s Black community.
“We believe that it’s important to keep the brain active as we get older. This year, we are focussing on celebrating diversity and equality”, says Hannah Silver, VP Health and Wellness. “This event is an opportunity for our seniors to learn about Black History. To recognize and celebrate the significant impact that Black Canadians continue to make to our country while promoting inclusivity within our community.”
