On July 7th, 8th & 9th All Seniors Care Living Centres residents, staff, management and CARING, our mascot turtle with a shell painted in 23 different colours to represent each of our participating residences, will enjoy our very special Pan Am Inspired Games by participating in a variety of friendly competitions, exploring the culture of the Americas and preparing to cheer on our Canadian athletes when the Pan AM Games begin on July 10th.

At All Seniors Care, we are committed to the belief that whether as a participant or a spectator being involved is crucial for maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle. Each of our residences will host friendly competitions over the three days leading up to the opening ceremony of the 2015 Pan AM Games. Indoor archery competitions, Wii games, Shuffleboard, Bocce and Armchair baseball to mention a few. To kick things off on July 7th former Pan Am athletes, coaches and medalists from across the country will be visiting our residences to bring words of encouragement and talk about what the Pan Am experience meant to them.

During the event our dining room menus will feature chef’s selections of the foods of the Americas, including fresh seafood, vegetables and fruits. Our “cultural walls” will highlight photo displays collected during the many travels of our residents, staff and families over the years throughout the Americas. At the closing of the event, entertainers will provide a glimpse of the Latin American culture through their music and dance.

We anticipate great laughter and camaraderie to create lasting memories and friendships from this exploration and celebration of the cultures of the Americas.
