Celebrate a Beatles-Themed Father’s Day This Year

Posted

What are your Father’s Day traditions? There are tons of activities for older dads, from a trip to the ball game or the golf course to microbrewery tours. But if you’re stumped for ideas this year, you can leave the activity planning to us.

This June, you can make Father’s Day a special occasion for the whole family. All Seniors Care Living Centres across Canada are gearing up for a Father’s Day to remember. If Dad or Grandpa is living in one of our retirement residences, you’ll be glad to know we have a lot planned for a special Father’s Day celebration. The public is invited too! If you’re interested in one of our retirement residences, Father’s Day Lunch and our activities are a great time to tour the building. This year, we’re celebrating a Beatles Father’s Day with tons of entertainment and games based on the music of one of the greatest bands in history.

We chose to celebrate The Beatles because better than any other band they represent peace, love, and harmony. Quality family time can be hard to come by, but special occasions like Father’s Day are a chance to come together and feel good just spending time with another. When multiple generations can get together for a calm, loving, and peaceful time, it’s a reason to feel good.

Take a look at what we have in store and make sure you come give us a visit. This past May, we had our big Mother’s Day Celebration and it was a great time for the whole family. Don’t miss out on our Beatles Father’s Day party. Be sure to check out the dates at your specific building, as each building will be holding their celebration on June 14, 15, or 16, so double check!

  • Bangers and mash
  • Cucumber & tomato salad
  • Trifle for dessert

Dress Like Your Favourite Beatle

The staff will be dressed in the bright colours and tie-dye fashion of the 1960s, and residents can too, meaning it’s time to go digging for clothes that haven’t been seen in ages.

Live Beatles Tribute Band

Entertainment starts at 1 from a live Beatles tribute band! Enjoy your favourite tunes live.

If you’re looking for a senior living residence for Dad that’s constantly hosting events like these that are great excuses to bring the whole family, find an All Seniors Care residence near you and ask us about living here.

Our Father’s Day celebration will be a great time for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren to visit. With all kinds of fun and games, entertainment, and food to enjoy, make a day out of it and bring your dad!
