The weeklong 2015 All Seniors Care Seniors Games ended on Friday across the country as athletes, residents and visitors alike enjoyed the Closing Ceremonies celebrations. Across Canada, several thousand seniors enjoyed the friendly competition, fun and activity that comes from taking part in the annual Seniors Games.

From start to finish, the Games were a resounding success that lived up to this year’s theme The Power of The Smile. “It’s hard to believe that the week is over. I am going to start practicing for next year’s Games” was the running comment made by numerous athletes from coast to coast.

“It was a fabulous week right across the country, we were thrilled to see the community leaders and political dignitaries who took time out of their busy schedules to joins us and cheer the athletes on,” points out Joshua Kuhl, Senior Executive VP of Operations for All Seniors Care. “The Seniors Games are a big part of the All Seniors Care Living Centres commitment to providing our residents and the community with innovative ways for seniors to develop and maintain active and healthy lifestyles.”
