The staff and residents at the All Seniors Care Living Centres Retirement Residences in Winnipeg are preparing a very special Mother’s Day Event with the type of unique twist we are known for. “There’s no place like home!”… And that will be the case this weekend when all of our 5 luxury retirement communities open their homes and welcome family, friends and other guests to celebrate the 115th Anniversary of the first publication of Wizard of Oz and the 75th Anniversary of the theatrical release of its timeless motion picture classic.

Preparations have begun with residents are busy crafting Red shoes, staff are busy putting up decorations and Our culinary teams have carefully planned the menu and are preparing to present fun and delicious “OZ” inspired delights. Heart Shaped party sandwiches, Rainbow Fruit Kabobs, Ruby Slipper Sugar Cookies, Melted Wicked Witch Punch and Auntie Em’s favourite mini-cupcakes!
