All Seniors Care Living Centres Host a Wonka-Themed Celebration of Creativity and Community

Toronto, ON Spirit Week is officially underway at All Seniors Care (ASC) Living Centres, bringing joy and excitement to residences across the country. From January 13th to 17th, 2025, seniors are immersing themselves in a week of whimsical fun inspired by the magical world of Willy Wonka.

Residents are enjoying themed dress-up days, chocolate-inspired treats, and engaging activities designed to spark creativity, connection, and community spirit. With a variety of individual events planned throughout the week, there’s something for everyone to enjoy—from fitness-focused games and team-building challenges to relaxing evening movie screenings.

“Spirit Week is a fantastic way to kick off the new year, bringing residents together to connect, share laughter, and energize through engaging activities,” said Hannah Silver, VP of Health & Wellness. “It’s not just about fun—it’s also about building excitement and momentum for the Senior Games coming this February.”

The magical Willy Wonka-themed party transports seniors into a fantastical world filled with vibrant colours and sensory delights. Throughout the week, residents and guests can search for their Golden Ticket, with the festivities culminating in a grand Golden Ticket Gala on Friday.

While the focus this week is on fun and connection, Spirit Week also paves the way for the 16th Annual ASC Senior Games, running from February 3rd to 7th, 2025. On Wednesday, January 15th, residents will experience the excitement during the yearly Pep Rally, as well as meet their Chefs de Mission and Sport Assistant Chefs—the dedicated leaders who will guide and motivate their teams throughout the Games. A list of the Chefs de Mission for each building can be found on the All Seniors Care web site.
