Discover a festival like no other – the All Seniors Care Grape and Wine Festival. On Thursday, September 23rd, seniors applaud our country’s amazing Niagara wine culture with a bevy of events that celebrate of all things red, white, rosé, and sparkling.

“Community is what the ASC Niagara Grape & Wine Festival is all about,” says Hannah Silver, Vice President of Health & Wellness at All Seniors Care Living Centres (ASC). “This year’s event will again shine a spotlight on the diversity and quality of wines available in Canada, while helping seniors, who wouldn’t normally be able to attend the Ontario festival, feel the excitement of a wine-tasting event.”

Transformed into a winery landscape with garlands of grape, vines, cork crafts, and other creative touches, a hallway promenade encourages seniors to take in the spectacle of colour. Afterward, the Harvest King and Queen will be crowned with due pomp and invited to be festival ambassadors.

The delightful day features an interactive and entertaining virtual cycle through the sheltered slopes and lakeside vineyards of the Niagara Region before residents are invited to sip award-winning wines from the region and savour perfectly paired bites. A live music show inspires seniors to dance away the afternoon. The day long festival ends with a screening of Uncorked.
